        Coaches votes for the game.

        10 Isaac Heeney (SYD)
        6 Josh Kelly (GWS)
        6 Luke Parker (SYD)
        4 Harry Perryman (GWS)
        2 Jesse Hogan (GWS)
        2 Tim Taranto (GWS)

Which puts Isaac in front in the Gary Ayres award, but strangely, I don't like his chances of winning it.

Umpires have enough pressure on them without having to give evidence at the tribunal. It is clear what happened. He's gone. Anyone defending him lacks a feel for the game and its traditions.

Why does Stevic need to be involved? The person offended doesn't need to give evidence in the current process.
Gerard Wheatley was perfect tonight. Greene and the Giants need to own their actions tomorrow, apologise profusely and plead guilty.

They could take Geelong without Toby, but I think they'd need him Melbourne.

That's the stupidest thing Gerard has ever said. Hes a Geelong supporter, and conflicted as ever.

Of course stevics input is required. He knows exactly what happened.

What could Stevic possibly know that isn’t already obvious in the video?

The only way his input would have any further weight is if he told the tribunal that Greene told him where to go when it happened. I’m not saying that is what occurred, but I don’t see how his testimony could mitigate the resulting outcome.

It is almost beyond comprehension that Greene didn’t know what he was doing. And even if that were true, the action alone cannot be allowed to stand unpunished. At a minimum it has to be two weeks, but I can understand the argument for a more severe penalty.

Very talented player but a total loose cannon. He appears to be arguing with Stevic about the reversal decision where he belted McInerney in the throat. This was after he earlier took one of our players high off the ball when GWS had possession. He then goes on to make deliberate contact with an umpire. Added to his past misdemeanors, it wouldn't surprise me if the tribunal threw the book at him. With justification.

We all know exactly what happened. Ridiculous.

A small extract from [I]The Age[I] by Jake Niall:

The Toby Green case isn't really about Toby Greene ... if the AFL's most mesmerising outlaw is allowed to play again this season, there is still a party that will be injured by Greene's latest overreach: the game of Australian rules football.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Just remember that we are talking about stevic here. The umpire that didn't pay a free kick to the swans for 3 whole quarters in the 2016 grand final.

                            Unusual? Fluke of nature?.
Statistically, it's a 1 in a billion chance of happening. Which means never.
                            Which means he's a crook.

I wish Toby had decked him.

Do you really hate Toby Greene that much?

I am not saying your statistical analysis is flawed , actually what the hell yes it is slightly askew ????
And I am not defending anyone involved and yes I feel we were robbed but just remind me was there only one umpire in the 2016 GF ?
