The Alan Pease bit was definitely a joke but my assessment wasn't so much.....but I stress that limited training footage can be quite misleading. You are right, I am in Victoria so have not seen the team in person....but it appears Ladhams went ok in the practice match, so probably 'nothing to see here'. However, body language of all players will continue to be assessed....especially on match day.

There’s an important role for you in 2022 Stevo. You can update the forum week to week on Logan McDonalds body language.

The forum needs to know if Logan will be returning to WA and you can tell us before it’s announced either way.

Body language will tell us the answer.

Like McDonald, Dawson also said he loved Sydney.....so, as we've witnessed, words are cheap and body language is the key.

        So I'll do my best!

        Regards, Alan.

The most significant line is the emergencies. All players in the 22 are good enough to keep out those on the last line

          Cheer, Cheer
On what basis is Bell an emergency?

His 4 possessions in the final round v Essendon and 6 possessions vs GWS in the elimination final (including a miss from 25 metres out straight in front), or his form in the 5th and 6th quarters on Friday night?

Well Paps won't be there: Papley sidelined with hamstring injury

Re Logan, I'm relaxed till I'm not or see something that suggests he's heading home, and there's no sign of that yet.

It'll be an interesting year for him. For me, a 15-17 game, and 25 goal season is about right for a second year KPP.

It'll be also be interesting to watch how he plays. Instinctively, he looks like the sort of player who'll want to go on long leads, but due to his physical limits last year, he played closer to home. As he builds strength and fitness and understands the flow of the game better, seeing him work up outside 50m and then work back to produce shorter leads inside 50 will be a feature of his game. He's got great instincts for body work in the contest, is a natural mark and a beautiful kick. When he can complement that with his work ethic and athleticism, he'll be quite the force.

                Word of the day:

Tact (noun): Skill and sensitivity in dealing with others or with difficult issues.

Without Tact, you're basically just brain farting your way through a conversation. The farts stink. Please try to control yourself.

It was tactless by using no skill or sensitivity in dealing with others. A very common theme.

Not all players are going to get a break out year. Will is best 22. God forbid he not step up to your lofty expectations in time.

I'm not claiming to be a saint, just asking that you use a little decorum when judging young men who have done nothing but try their best for the club.

Time for Wicks to step up? He had an fantastic season last year and forced himself to be picked in the team on a consistent basis. Now he has to stand up? Think about what you're saying, the kid is 22.

McDonald started alright last year: kicked 3.1, 2.2 and 2.2 in rounds 1-3. I hope he is inspired to step up and go even better this year.

On body language I noted in the games I saw last season that he seemed quite serious and a bit harsh on himself at times. Trying hard to make an impression no doubt. Hopefully he's more settled at the club now and can relax and enjoy his games more.

In that case, I apologise, that is a perfectly valid comment.

On the basis that I like him. He is young, and raw and not perfect, but I like him.

Who would you change him for?
