For what it's worth here are my opinions...
We were the better team all game, but inaccurate goal-kicking meant we struggled to put them away. As for player performance, it was a good even performance and there really wasn't anything we haven't seen before -
Melican & Gould again controlled the backline, with Gould providing an offensive threat with his long and generally accurate kicking.
Cunningham was composed and demonstrated good vision - he could easily step back up to AFL if required.
Rankin has clearly improved through the year, along with O'Connor. There will have to be tough decisions made at the end of the year.
Campbell wasn't particularly busy, but was quick and creative and did lots of defensive work.
Sinclair was solid. Always gives 100%.
Roberts & Kennedy were tough and competitive in close, and appeared to cover a lot of ground to provide options.
Bell worked hard to always provide a contest and generally used the ball well.
Ronke was my BoG - busy and creative in the Papley role, with Wicks playing further up the ground
Taylor was one of the most skilled players on display, but he seems never to be in the conversation for elevation.
McDonald continued to cover a huge amount of ground, display sticky hands and plenty of smarts, but blotted his copybook with inaccurate goalkicking.
McLean kicked accurately and took some solid contested marks.

Will Edwards is a teenager from the Academy (?), looked completely lost a couple of weeks ago in his debut, but has shown pleasing development. At 196cm he could be a candidate for a rookie spot.
And finally Tanner Bruhn is a jet, if Geelong get him for a second round pick it will be a steal.

Good summary. I pretty well agree with it all.

In regards to Edwards. Yes, he has come through the academy, although his draft year was last year. While he has been mainly playing as a back up ruck in the VFL, he's usually a KPP at academy level. Might be worth a rookie spot? Almost certainly worth a VFL contract.

Did they not keep score in this game?

It wasn't a very inspiring game, with few fluid passages of play and poor conversion from both sides.

Ronke continues to impress in the VFL. He's winning a lot of ball from his forward position and always has a knack to find the goals. I don't know if he will make the cull at season's end or be traded, because it's so hard to break into our forward line. Yet I would feel quite comfortable bringing him into the senior side anytime.

Roberts is such a good footy player, he might not need the speed and agility I said he needed to make it at AFL level. He's so clever, has great field vision, and executes precisely. He might even be ahead of the Wombat, who was looking sluggish in this game.

As others have noted, Rankin has been improving as the season rolls on. Corey Warner has also been showing solid improvement in recent weeks. Looking forward to see how they go next year.

HHK continues to impress. He looks every bit of an AFL player. I'd put him in the 'almost a sure thing' category along with the likes of Campbell, Sheldrick and Roberts.

It's a good sign to have so many veterans, like Harry C, playing well in the VFL, as well as several excellent 1st and 2nd year players.

McAndrew missing again. What's up with him? He's become a part of the Swans' 'don't ask, don't tell' policy. Maybe we need to look for another development ruckman to take his place.

McAndrew, the latest Swans ghost player, not on the injury list but also doesn't play. We've had these players for years!

I think its only Mc Andrews second season on the list. Hes come virtually straight out of rugby so hes a project player. Not sure why hes not around but definitely not one to throw away considering where he has come from.

                          Where's McHoodoo?

He's too big to hide under a rock. Someone must have seen him around.

17-13 Swans lead. Wicks is a goal hungry bugger.

Sounds like Kennedy has done his hamstring again.
