I was having a scotch. Didn’t see what he was drinking. Didn’t chat to him as he was with a group of people.

The Eagles v Port was playing on the big screen and he wasn’t showing much interest in watching his old team play. Was in the moment with his friends.

I doubt people at the pub knew what a legend of the AFL game he was and what a brilliant sportsman he was.

Yep. The Eagles have never been the same since we torched them last year in Geelong. That game marked the end of that 2018 legacy and the emergence of Blakey as a star half back flanker.
