Would be interesting to hear why we'd pick Vickery over someone like Cowan, who Carlton took at 30 and was ranked much higher by most experts. Cowan seems not that much different but more credentialed. Time will tell I guess.

As much as I would have like to get Lauchie. Great to see him go to Carlton , his family are diehard blues fans and when I say diehard I mean diehard lol

If not for the Swans, the AFL could do away with the draft and just go with Cal Twomey's phantom draft.

People who believe another small pressure forward wasn’t a priority is kidding themselves. What was the only position that was a merry go round last year? The one where they tried half the list and failed - Bell, Wicks, Ronke, Campbell, Roberts ….
