Anyone know if dogs are allowed at Tramway Oval? By the way, is it Tramway or Lakeside? Seems to get called both (unless they're different?).

You can bring a dog. Because spectators watch from the little fence that runs around the oval.

But dogs can't run around the grass of the playing/training area.

McAndrew starting in the ruck. First goal to Errol.

Then of course a defender (Rampe) gives away a downfield free for an easy goal to Gunston.

Great pass by Errol to Stephens for a goal.

Who dropped the easy mark and then followed up with a crap kick?

Seems to be a match sim for them too, the broadcast is all over the place! Had the wrong scores up for most of the first half. Anyway, nice to see the boys back in action.

I was there for the first half then needed back at work. Always good to see them running around at the start of a new year.

Third quarter very disappointing. Sloppy and no flow but not having a ruckman doesn’t help. Lot of senior players off the ground but still our forward entries are high bombs that rebound straight out. (I guess when the high bomb has worked so well for us in the past they’re happy to go with it!)

A 45 POINT defeat is disappointing but I always remember 2005. Played Carlton one week before the first round and was defeated by 85 points. End result was the Swans won the flag and Carlton won the wooden spoon.

I didn't see the first half but from what I saw in the second half defence was very sloppy and tackles didn't stick. Brisbane were muck more slicker and seemed to be fitter. No having an experienced ruckman didn't help. I'll reserve judgement after next week against Carlton.

It’s hard to know what game time players had but it seemed our best were Chad, Dylan, Justin.
