Not unhappy with the performance but the goal kicking has let us down and elevated Melbourne. For context, in “expected score”, we’d be in front 71-67

I don't think it is that drastic. We just have wasted our chances.
We have had more than enough of the game to be in it, but bad kicking for goal has let us down.
You have to execute the basics well against the best teams.

Demons seem hungrier today. Just a bit faster up off the ground and a bit more desperate. We settled well after Q1 but they have. Even a step ahead all day. Big final quarter ahead

Good effort and we haven't been outplayed- the score flatters Melbourne- but bad kicking is bad football and we certainly have some things to work on....and we have to realise that we will get bad umpiring against the big clubs in Melbourne- because it's been going on for years..and it's just the way the AFL is...Comment
