Some really bad non calls that quarter. The throw quotient rose by about 50%. But there are some serious problems. Our forwards are still allowing far more movement from their players. But the most urgent problem is actually when we don't have both Rowie & Gus in the mids.

Another problem was as someone has pointed out Lloyd's kick ins. They are far too shallow or to a contested area. He actually managed to hit 4 Lions players on the chest. Not good. Not only that, he was responsible for the terrible move into the HB line that went straight t ok Coleman, who was the shortest to player there. He hit him on the chest. @@@@

Trust hodge the grub to comment that the rough free kick against wil was ‘a good one’.

The 50s tonight have been way over the top for mine.

Have another goal Brisbane...after the ball was out of bounds. Even the boundary umps are biased.

How was that not a free to Melican? Hit high without the ball.

That’s a poor 50 to give away but yet again they push it out of bounds without penalty

Two different sets of rules for insufficient intent tonight.

A lot have wanted Cunningham out of the side but this game has really showed his worth, a lockdown defender!

And it's also great to see Horse play Stephens on ball in a role he's excelled at in the VFL! He's looked decent in the small sample so far!
