What a difference a week (against a team of witches hats) makes. Back to reality this week against Geelong. I think the one
thing the debacle in the west reinforces is that you shouldn't hold onto too many senior players for too long. Especially those
who need to get paid as much in their waning, injury-riddled years as they did at their peak.

The scary thing that was mentioned on the Sunday footy show is that West Coast have 7 players in the top 100 paid players in the league. I read that Kelly and McGovern are earning over $1 Million.

I know they have injuries, but that effort yesterday, especially from senior players was deplorable. We had that bad game against Geelong, but at least we have shown effort in the other games. We just haven't been good enough or disciplined.

Are there still people on here who dont rate Rowbottom ? He’s a beast.

Also liking sheldricks past few games. Tough little nut.

Hickey was Immense , great return from Mills, Gulden is paying $151 for the Brownlow ( dont think he’ll win but on that form those odds will shorten over the next 8 weeks )

Hard to read much into that win , 4 qtr effort is nice though, and maybe some guys like Heeney get some confidence.

We knock the cats off next week and I’ll start dreaming of a finals berth.

Don is 54 and Horse is 2 years younger.

Nice to see Hickey back and playing well again. Unfortunately the Swans still don't get how crucial a good ruckman is.

Our B+F will be fascinating this year. I suspect Parker is leading it right now, as he’s probably been the most consistent and held his end up when we were getting whacked. But Errol is coming along strongly, and Chad’s best games have been clear BOG efforts (with a few quiet ones in between).

One dark horse will be Blakey. I reckon the coaches will have loved what he has done down back, having to both play KP whilst still providing his dash and run. His best games have been very good and he’s matched his assets with desperation.

Parker has missed one game due to suspension. Competition is quite even this year and missing games can be the difference.

I like Parker’s new hair cut. He looks like he is a mean @@@@, not to be messed with!

I have always thought that might be a possibility......as well a sensible idea.

Just for the record - Just watched the bounce TV show and the pass to Logan McDonald in the first quarter was 59.2 meters. Not a bad weapon to have. Also there is an academy boy called Ethan Grace who put through a VFL goal outside 50m with a cross wind blowing, another wonderful kick.

Live, she was like a female Jagger, big belting booming commanding voice …. Brought the house down.
I danced all night . The Big number was UFO. There were little kids on top of Dads shoulders , guys on top of girls shoulders ..
They would be good at a Granny .

Absolutely. It's like a switch has been flicked and he's just gone "Yep, I can do this". All aspects of his game have gone up a level
