It was not meant as a slur on Lockett, Kelly, Stynes or Goodes - the assumption that it was, and the speed of the reaction did surprise me.
    Thanks for clarifying. I’d never heard of it before, or that it was appreciated as a bit of a stir.

        Not sure about Whitten as I didn’t see that much of him. Dyer on the other hand…….. wasn’t called Captain Blood for nothing!

          Whitten was a dirty bugger. Incredibly good in his prime but always ready to slip in a sly one.

            Thanks for that....it does make it clearer and certainly less 'offensive'.
