General footy chat Round 14: the other games.

I'm starting to get slightly concerned with the Lions gathering momentum, so I'm probably not doing myself any favours, by hoping for a Saints win tonight.

The Bulldogs v Dockers, and Giants v Power games both seem like they could be important to the composition of the eight.

Ross Lyon is looking like Malthouse did at Carlton, a bloke who is watching the game pass him by and stuck with a @@@@ list.

+1 they are playing as well as anyone right now. Hopefully we don’t collide with another fairy tale this year?

They'll probably hold on but Brisbane are having trouble putting St.Kilda away.

As I type, Daniher finally does put them away.

Neale was subjected to an immense amount of harassment last night - though eventually getting 3 free kicks - and he did well to retain his cool. I hope our players are as disciplined if Adelaide follow that blueprint of pressure, as the Umpires were slow to protect him.

Dogs doing a job on the Dockers. Possibly make them a less attractive proposition for the likes of Logan and Chad.

Yes, the Dockers are a bit of enigma. The Suns are probably the only other side, that oscillates more between very good and crap. And so far, they don't really give the impression that they're likely to win a final away from Perth. Which I guess lessens their appeal as a trade destination.

North beating Collingwood 86-38 at half time. Hope that continues.

Only if North win by around 50 points today and then don't win another game for the rest of the year.

Very happy to see Collingwood lose today.

It is going to a a real scrap for 2-8 on the ladder, while we just need to take care of business, one game at a time

Being a North supporter must be a strange and mystifying form of living hell.

                            I know I should feel bad for them - but I don't!

Their supporters booed Goodesy throughout his final game and they're coached by a thoroughly detestable individual.

Happy to see them doing it hard.

Not sure how I feel about that game. Pretty entertaining for a game I was planning to skip.
