    That should have read "awful".

I find it a bit too saucer-like which means that you are a long way from the fence without much elevation. (on the lower seats anyway) And from where I sit you can't see all of the boundary line which can be annoying.
Also the seats aren't angled quite right so you constantly have to turn your head to watch.

I'd prefer a "colusseum" type of arena.

I'm yet to go to Colonial but from what I understand all seats are pretty good.

I've been a little disappointed with the Swans this year.

I really felt that you were the second best team last year, and the team with the best chance of beating the Lions.

I picked the Swans (before the season began) to meet St Kilda in the GF and I still believe that this is a possibility.

The game on Sunday is not being taken lightly by the Saints, we were caned by you guys last year (a ripper of a game by Kirk on Hayes).

I believe that the Saints will win, but I don't expect any 108 point margins !

Good Luck guys (just not too much good luck on Sunday)

I can never work out how to go with this. When heading to the game and talking to a supporter of the opposition I don't want to wish them luck as I hope the luck goes our way. THe best I can settle on is "I hope you enjoy the game" - meaning I hope you get some satisfaction out of a great game that the Swans win.

                    Any better ideas?

For me anything under 50 would be ok, and if we get within 20 I would be quite impressed.
Why do people continually get baited by this egotist. Much like me, he adds absolutely nothing to this board.

edit II: well this thread has been hijacked. even better

I get stuck with that too. I just couldn't bring myself to say good luck back

I'd rather be gratious in defeat to an opposition supporter that's been nice than have to put up with ferals who rub in a loss. Actually, I probably do that myself
I guess they're just as passionate about their team as we are with ours. "Should be a great game" is another polite way

Going home together can be interesting too, depending on the result.

so pushing them into on coming traffic, or reversing into their car with my big sticky out towbar isn't acceptable?

I normally thank them for the kind wish and say, should be a good game.

Not sure if you're taking the p1ss or not

Nevertheless, the good luck wish was genuine ( - just excluding when you're playing my team).

PS About the congratulations: I don't know if I'm man enough to do that - we'll wait and see (if and when it becomes necessary)
