Amazing that he still received the votes in the paper!! WTF!?!
He had 23 disposals, most of them pretty much ineffective. Tried hard, but gave us nothing.
(of course he wasn't alone there, but again I say he is meant to be one of our best midfielders).
And once again he was one of our best midfielders . . . most clearances of either side (9) and a terrific 6 centre bounce clearances (the same as Hasleby, Bell, Cook and Schammer combined.
Add to that he was our 2nd best possession winner, best for kicks, and by far our most effective tackler . . . any reasonable fan would say he's worth at least $300,000 to any team in the comp.

But if you actually look at those possessions properly, and not simply take them at face value, you'll see that many of his possessions were not particularly effective, as I've already said.

But again, that's only your opinion, which differs from mine, and apparently from the media "experts" who rated him very highly.
I think he played well, and my opinion is backed up by the stats and by the media.
You think he played poorly, and your opinion is backed up by Diego.
The media 'experts' - LOL - I'd hate to have to rely on their views!!
Go and watch the game again and you will notice how many times his kicks were ineffective - sideways or up in the air or missing targets. He was not a threat for most of the game.
There were a number of better players for us on the field than him, but none of them good.

I have stood up for our guys plenty of times when deserved, but prefer to say nothing if I feel they have been poor.
But if anybody could possibly believe Jude had a good game yesterday, well they simply have no idea. The so-called media 'experts' would just look at stats and see that Jude got a bit of the ball, thus rate him in the best.
The fact that he turned over possession more times than some genuine '300K' players would turn it over in a season gets lost when talking about stats.
That's my opinion Chammond.

I agree with you, I was impressed with his centre square work and I rate him very highly for courage. It was great to see him getting the most clearances.
Some of the peanuts on this forum seem really unbalanced about Bolton.

So... if we only have our opinions then we should resort to name calling to validate our views further...?
He comes under a lot of scrutiny because he gets a lot of possessions and he is meant to be our top midfielder.
