the players need to believe....doesnt matter what we think or do, and we may identify our culture as poor but has anyone got a solution??

i just think supporting football becomes so complicated for people sometimes, just go out cheer and enjoy. Ok we havent had enough success yet, i honestly think we will and im sure everyone here does. Im also sure everyone gets great enjoyment out of supporting the swans
Theres not much left to say

        By the supporters or players?

Players mainly. But remember if you keep telling someone they are no good, they will be no good. A winning culture is just as hard to get, or lose, as a losing culture.

I have thought this , so accordingly I wonder about Roos saying that we are a team who are not as skillful as some others.
                Isn't that a self fulfilling prophesy ??

Are we happy now Bee, our great doyen of truth and virtue?

It was the time when you abused them in a pub after losing the Wizard Cup match against the Dogs that made all the difference! You kept em honest Great Man! We won the flag because of YOU Beaussie!

Jf (enjoying going through old posts to see how things used to be like....way back then when we hadn't won a flag. )

PS:- Can we see your Premiership ticker-tape parade dance again mate? And that Nick Davis song you thought up?

I for one am sick of being told it will happen one day. Some of our most loyal fans have died waiting for that.

Also, for Roos to come out and say we are not taking the Wizard Cup seriously really pisses me off. How the **** are we supposed to attract new members when we bomb out first round of the pre-season? Real inspiring stuff Swans.

Get used to no more Wizard Cup FTA TV coverage at a decent hour Sydneysiders.

Bring on a second Sydney team and make this wannabe AFL team accountable. The sooner the better.

If a fan can truly make a difference to the team, I would like to think that '93 was all about me.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

A real fan would have jumped off the bandwagon in '93

I remember in 93 when we broke our our losing streak

My son was only a few months old and I was at a park near my mum's house.

My eldest boys were at a birthday party at the park when I
tuned on the radio and heard we were belting the Demons.

I grabbed my 3 month old and rushed to my mothers to watch the final quarter - Kel was brilliant that day

my eldest 2 boys 5 & 3 wanted Swans jum0ers the next day

That was back in the days when we had to pay for media space in the Sydney Metro papers

                                How times have changed

Our History is NOT embarrasing - look at St kilda first
