    Seems reasonable.
(if we dont lose a game you should send me a postcard from mars! :P)
Yeah, what Scott said. Maybe an email instead!

It's good, but it couldn't tell me if Higgins and Capper were both playing for the Swans at the same time.

          I love everyone's enthusiasm!

But please make sure, some of you don't start bagging the coach, team and the structure if we lose a couple of games on the trot!

Pure coincidence but I was thinking this morning of starting a thread about how all sides are beatable this year. I'm not yet convinced that it will be by the Swans 2005 but the season is wide open.

Port and the Lions certainly look far from unbeatable. Injuries and age in one case, and attitude in the other. So it comes down to the pretenders. Everyone seems to have the Cats, Weagles, Ainst and maybe, Dees in that camp. No reason why we can't be there too. I think the current Swans lineup can do it - and I don't think Willo or Stewie will ever have a premiership if it isn't this year. But our structure is the best it could be. Great forward line and lots of height and talent in the back. It just comes down to two things. Can our midfield produce throughout the year (and last weekend that looked far from sure) and can Roos come up with a master plan that will carry us through (and that also remains unproven)?

Of course, injury can unravel all this. Imagine if Baz and Ball were injured this weekend. . . But this year it could happen. If so, we could become the next powerhouse of the AFL. I think everyone is expecting that will be the Aints but I think we have more heart if not more talent. And the Lions have shown what heart (and mongrel) can achieve.

don't let any of the other clubs know our plan!! how do we get this to roos and his men without being discovered?
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Barry, perhaps you should be down in the bottom of the garden with rest of the fairies, and I am not talking about human fairies.

                            18 wins is very fanciful.

I think this year we will/should win 16 games.
