OUT: Williams (inj), Ball (inj), Spriggs (Drop), and Bevan (Drop)
IN: Roberts-Thomson, McVeigh, Willoughby and Schauble/James
Well we need a tall backman to cover Neitz and I would bring in Schauble if fit (if not James). With Ball out injuried (again) we need a ruck option to help Jolly out and as Roos won't use Goodes in that role, in comes LRT to play that role he did so well in late 03. With Willo out in comes McVeigh who needs GAMETIME and I would drop Bevan and Spriggs (because a redhot go doesn't mean you should be in the seniors each week, you need to show FORM) with one spot left I would bring in Willoughby for his first game, rather than Fosdike becuase that would defeat the point of dropping Spriggs and Bevan.
If I was a cold hearted person, Mathews, Nicks and Crouch wouldn't be sleeping easy.Once was, now elsewhereComment

Making examples out of fringe players like Spriggs and Bevan is making no example.Comment

Did Saddo play in the reserves? If so, he must be brought in - we lack height in the backline.

I thought we would've won because they would've been on a high from Port but it seemed it was the other way round.Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.Comment

The bloody game plan is killing us. It is forcing simple skill errors because we are constantly under pressure. Just kick the ****ing ball!
My love child bucky did SFA and will probably be dropped for schneider (who kicked 5 in the ressies although that was not hard to do).
Willoughby is the man to come in IMO. He is and will be the successor to Williams but i doubt Roos would do it.
Finally, Why did sections of the Brewongle stand clap the boys off at the end..If they were aimed for Micky's 200th then fair enough, if not then they all need a smack in the head.
Yeh, I'm really really pissed off.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

We were talking to the trainers quickly after Willo did his collarbone - and originally they indicated 2 to us.
Originally they thought it was 2 weeks but it more like 2 months now (hence the 6 weeks).
One thing his injury showed though is he is definitely the engine room in our midfield.
ETA: On the bench after halftime when Willo came to sit down there, Amon was the first person who went up to him to make sure he was okay *sigh* and Nick D also went up to him later on when he was on the bench.Last edited by gossipcom; 17 April 2005, 05:17 PM.Comment

I was listening to Triple M and their boundary reporter was pretty sure Maxfield was reported for rough play on Goodwin. That's why I asked as I was surprised no one mentioned it here.Comment

1. From what I saw Maxfield should have been reported.
2. Spriggs did have a go. Blew a kick to ROK right in front of me (how many times did they go to ROK in a contest on the wing today) but had the commitment to run down and put his head over the ball looking for the crumbs (and got a whack for it).
3. Davis had 23 disposals (8 contested too). Note the disposals were again gathered consistently throughout the game, he looked to want the pill and was making amazing position off the ball. Also appeared to be directing the traffic at stoppage setups.
4. Jude is in some good form.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

No, because if you look at the game report on the official AFL web site it says nil reports.Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.Comment
