    Jolly reported and the result

Will get one match, if he accepts the penality.

Cannot accept the penalty. With Ball and Doyle both likely to be unavailable, we'll just have to roll the dice.

Do we know what the incident was? I've avoided watching the match, but if anyone knows what he was reported for... has he got a chance of beating the rap?

I think he went stuck out a knee at Godfrey while going past him. I think that's the incident under scrutiny although it could be the charge that resulted in a downfield penalty and Neitz goal.

That was the one - it looked pretty ordinary

I think he should shut up and take the week, there's no way he's going to get off

or we'll have to put goodes in the ruck.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Geezus!! It just gets better doesn't it?

Looks like Goodes has to face those Subiaco demons of last year and take the centre bounces if Jolly's out.

Eriksson is way too skinny and raw, but he would be the last resort if Roos doesn't want to risk Goodes.

Aaron Davey gets off with a head shot and Jolly has to take a spell? Cut it out!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Depends on what the points tally is. If he defends himself and is found guilty, will it be two weeks?

We have practically no chance of winning next week anyway but wouldn't want to be without a ruckman the following week against Essendon.

That's the big question - if it's a week accepting the charge and will still be a week but with more carryover points if he goes before the tribunal, then contest it and see if he can play against the Weagles, but if we stand to lose him for 2 weeks if he contests the charge, cop it sweet and worry about fronting up against Essendon.

                  I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Very ordinary. I doubt he could get off. LRT to do the rucking. Should be a good lesson for him. He seems to play better when he is taking initiative. The only problem is that he is giving away too much height to any of the Eagle ruckmen.

Surely one of Shaw, Eriksen or possibly Campbell has to come in if Jolly is out. Can't see LRT and Goodes rucking the whole game.

                            Jolly facing suspension for kneeing
Jolly was charged with misconduct during the second quarter and the AFL Match Review Panel ruled his actions as a level two offence, based on the charge being of intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point), in play (one point) and body contact (one point) - worth a total of six activation points.
This meant Jolly drew 225 demerit points and a two-match suspension, however an early plea would reduce the penalty by 25 percent to 168.75 points, resulting in a one-game suspension.

Well, he'll have to take the one week, don't want him to be missing for two.
