Undoubtedly correct, but what you do as a kid and what you do when you become an adult are two different things. Connolly thought Pavlich would be a fullback, then a ruckrover, and I think Dunkley was recruited as a forward.

Again correct, for I reckon it might be good for his development to let the kid find himself in one position at AFL level before before he plays musical chairs (Incidentally I think this has been part of LRT's problem).

My last thought for today is that perhaps the egerness to make adverserial responses (point scoring) is impeding the ability to examine other peoples viewpoints.

Yes, many statistics are used for all sorts of things. They can be useful, but most of them don't matter. There is only one statistic that counts.

So just use stats to justify your argument without including the facts...FACT LRT was not the direct opponent of Lucas for his 4 goals.

Stats are ok when backed up with other data, LRT had a reasonable game he wasnt smashed or towelled up by Lucas nor did he provide us with any drive but he competed well and was only beaten in a 1 on 1 contest once maybe twice for the night.

LRT is a young developing CHB and as part of his development he did ok on Sat night.

If not LRT at CHB then who? Vogels looks good up front and hopefully will get plenty of game time at FF, isnt it worth persisting with the development of LRT he hasnt cost us a game, been badly beaten by any opponent and is learning every game?

Isnt this exactly what we have been asking Roos to do give the young blokes a go and time to develop? like it or not there doesnt appear to be anyone else on the list ready to step up to CHB so why not persist.
