Sorry I couldn't follow your made-up points system which is irrelevant anyway. I have to admit there were a few things while watching the replay on tape that I didn't notice before. Still, LRT's positioning in some of thoses contests were questionable and some of his efforts were borderline clumsy.

No one is questioning his effort especially his gallop down the middle, but the fact remains if he had kicked the ball properly, there was no need to scramble around for the ball. The fact remains his skills are poor and he panicks too easily when in possession. Not in our best 22 at the moment and now that we have a few talls back he can't maintain his spot.

Leaving aside your considerabl concession about letting LRT stay in the team. And the brevity and fatuousness of your response to my well reasoned post

Just like Andrew Schauble (according to the Oz's stats).

Thanks for actually doing some research and analysis, unlike most people.

However, you have a problem with selectively quoting. I actually said "On his way to a match winning performance."
Given he'd kicked 3 goals to half time, this is normally considered a pretty good half.
He also goes on about possesion counts to halftime, neatly removing LRT's best effort out of the equasion.
No - I was simply noting that Lucas was getting a reasonable amount of ball to half time, and most importantly was kicking goals, which is the aim of the game.
Incidentally did NMWBloods even notice that by reminding all that Lucas averages 15 possesions a game, and that he was already halfway there by halftime you are inadvertently stating that LRT was keeping him to an "avarage" game? Probably not.
Yes, and I specifically addressed this by pointing to average number of goals, which he was beating.

And for those who suggest LRT's taking too long to develop, I suggest remember he's 21, Vogels age and Campbell is 23. If the latter in particular is worth drafting at that age then LRT is definitely worth sticking with.
And why not try these older guys? Why bother recruiting them and then use the younger guy more?

Ruckman, its a bit rough that Lucas gets 6 points for a kick (which turns into a goal) and LRT only gets one for a kick (which he's too far away to get a goal with).

All in all LRT did ok.

Actually, just as I got myself tangled up trying to quote 3 people at once, you're can't know how much I've been been praising Vogels this year for his efforts in preseason and the two's. Cambell on the other hand isn't actually shining there at the moment.

                        On the othe hand

Jared McVeigh ~ I have never seen anyone so totally dominate an ACTFL game (actually any game really) more completely this week. Why he isn't playing rather than Spriggs i'll never know (McVeigh may appear underhard sometimes but Spriggs doesn't gather much of te ball lofts his kicks)

McVeigh was outstanding but you would think any midfielder with AFL experience would shine against Wagga on Saturday, Spriggs included.

As for Campbell, its hard to gauge where he's at, simply because he didn't have much to do. But he looks quite mobile and with his heigh is a useful backup for us atm.

They must drop Spriggs this week. In fact, it deserves its won thread .....
