      It's pretty easy...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

          Maybe he just didn't suck.

The stats look faintly ridicluous LRT ---> 0 clangers!

I may be a "zombie" Sanecow (although how you can tell I don't know, it's been ages since I last ripped off a somone's arm and hit them with the wet end ) however I think it may be of interest to return this thread to it's topic (how many I hate LRT threads do we really need?).

I do not think any player that's been injured should be brought straight back to the firsts as a general rule.
And I'd include Ball in that, the Jolly/Goodes combination seems to be working in the ruck and certainly benefits Goodes' around the ground.

The idea of playing a tall forward line to stretch the Dogs defence (will Rawlings return?) has merit but is Ball the man for the job?

I am concerned aboout their grassburners/mosquito fleet/hiho brigade, if they run loose up the middle of the SCG we could be toast.

It will be interesting to see if that happens, because it seems that we have recruited from the same troupe of dwarfs and we can't make it work.

Their's have football skills - Murphy, Giansiracusa, Cooney, Gilbee, et al, can all actually kick and handball properly and understand how to find the ball and where to run.

Pre-empting my preview, the 'Dogs are full of some of the most underrated players in the competition.

My opinion is the dogs like space, and on the SCG with a close checking swans their game plan will come unstuck.
Having Jolly and Goodes against some no-name ruckman also helps.

Not looked at either profiles but Cooney & Murphy are hardly in the dwarf category !

Cooney looks like he is going to be one hell of a footy player already, amazing what first draft picks get you !

Unfortunately for Bevan his lack of vision, genuine knowledge of the game and poor disposal has led to him being in the 18-22 player bracket, and he is lucky to be there.

No, I wasn't really thinking about the dwarves - just their young players. I think Murphy is one of the best younger players around, just unheralded.

Space could be a key issue for the 'Dogs - will be interesting to see how Eade tackles it.

                                Goddard.

Seriously though, Cooney is an excellent player. It would be nice to have a crack at one of those number 1 picks.

I think that the Bulldogs fans are getting a bit ahead of themselves at the moment. They've been rubbish for 4 years so it had to turn around and it's not like the are sitting at the top of the table.

Having said that, I do like them and hope they do well. They may beat us this weekend but I think that because their record against us up here is good - not because I think that they are a great team ... yet.
