Diego were you bullied at school by a kid with a hyphen? How come you took such a set against the kid? The pair of you are like total mirror images about this guy.

I think anyone who'se coached kids from a non football background would accept this is a valid point when considering the speed of LRT's development. Indeed the loss of a NSW team from the TAC competition is only going to further impede the developement of NSW kids, the next sydneysider we draft could well be coming from much further back.
Of course the way things are going I'm wondering not if not when will we draft a sydneysider.

Now that would have to be the biggest call EVER made on RWO (well until this one). No doubt he played a good quarter, but to say it was the best quarter, well, I'd say that a lot of players do that kind of stuff week in week out, but it goes unnoticed because that is their usual standard.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I implore all LRT knockers to go and watch that last quarter on afl.com, foxfooty or VCR. When you are not worried about the scoreline, you can analyse play much more intensely.
LRT's fourth quarter was outstanding. You will agree when you see it. It even suprised me becuase I knew he had a good game, but that last quarter was something else.

Seriously, do yourself a favour and watch it. It just shows what could be when he progresses a bit more and illiminates the clangers a bit.

He will be one of the premier CHB's in a few years time.

This means the record for Biggest Call Ever on RWO has been broken 3 times in just 10 posts.

That must be the biggest record ever?

So do you think Brisbane would swap him for Leppitsch? What about a swap with Port for Cornes?

So has he now replaced Roos, Langford, Clegg, or Jakovich as one of the greatest CHBs...

It was the consumate performance, and a glimpse of what the future holds.
I challenge you to watch some games with C Cornes, J Leppitsch, L McPharlin, T Harley or C Grant playing at CHB. Even this year, when they have each had poorer years than previously.

Then watch a couple of tapes with P Roos (Sydney or Fitzroy varieties).

Then maybe some "lesser" players like T Croad, J Rivers or S Lucas playing in that position.

You may come to appreciate what a CHB really needs to do to be considered "consumate". Being a "wall" is half of the role. Creating opportunities through creative, clever and accurate delivery is the other half.

                      EDIT: Like NMW said!

Be fair, he never said that, he just said it was a good one quarter performance.

Which to be fair again, it was.

Hard to say if as good as any this year, but he did do some very good things.

One of his strengths is his willingness to leave his player and assist others. Displayed a few times Saturday, most notably a 2 tackle effort on Nietz. He gets cuaght out and lambasted on here because 'his' player sometimes ends up with the ball, but in most cases if he did not it would have been a goal anyway. Coaches love that sort of unselfish work.

Sure it was good, but the best performance by any CHB this year...?

Actually I think they might consider such a trade, the Lepper must be over 30 by now and LRT is nowhere as bad as some RWOers make out.

Subjective and silly agreed, but some of the anti-LRT stuff is equally silly.

When he does play well he should get credit for it.

Of course he is not Cornes or Lepitsch, but he is starting to be very effective.
