    Ben Mathews HAS to go

Absolute rubbish player. May be able to find the footy, but has no idea wwhat to do with it. We are never going to win a premiership with this hack in our team, when will Roosy wake up and cut him. He is the worst captain of this club and I would love to see that he never wears the red and white ever again.

Started well, but crap since the first quarter.

With the rotation of the captaincy in recent weeks, the Swans had a lot of grunt under everyone bar Matthews who showed no leadership whatsoever.

Aside from the goal, i dont think any of them actually hit a target.

Some woeful kicking by Benny there in the last quarter, even on his right foot. I've said it before, he just takes an extra split second than most players and that is quite costly.

He may be a loyal servant to our club, however we can't win the flag with players like him. Shocking game tonight.

Come on, this is a bit harsh. He had a bit of a shocker tonight and he's probably not captain material but I think your going over the top.

I think everyone on the field had a shocker tonight except LRT, Goodes, Mcleod and Welsh.

                      What game were you watching?

Despite our missed shots on goal in the last quarter, I reckon it was a pretty good effort.

Benny just had a bad night. He is one of our best run with players. Yes he may kick badly but most of the time he is pretty good

                        Trade him. He's a liability.

20 possessions and less than half would've gone anywhere near a team-mate. And many of these were under minimal pressure. Absolutely inexcusable for a league footballer.

What do you think his trade value is?

Surely the fact he's captained the side would have increased it astronomically

Benny's effort and courage is beyond reproach.

He made it in the afl.com.au "best" list - but I reckon if you got thirty kicks and put 'em all out on the full , you'd do that ,just on the number of touches .

I do not think Benny lacks skill, period - what he lacks is skill UNDER PRESSURE .Tend to agree with the "rabbit in the headlights"comment. He is ordinary at making quick and effective decisions.

As for the "won't win flag" comments - well , there's a few hacks with premiership medals and we have to realise that we can't have 22 x 37's in our side.
