    Sorry im a little Sandra Sully with the late news here but why on earth would the Sydney AFL allow another team in the eastern suburbs. If this Coogee side gets up you'll have UNSW/ES, Randwick, and UTS all within 10kms of each other.

    Sounds a little silly to me.

    is this just scuttlebutt or is there an application on the table??

      And the problem with having more teams and more players playing senior football is?

      Does seem a bit odd having so many teams close to each other but if it can work why try and stifle it?

        Well, one problem is the reduction in standard of quality of the PD competition, which you were bemoaning in the Manly thread.
