Bill presented myself and Matt Arbon with the Premiers Shield in Under 15s, albeit for the 2nd Division of the old Northside/Hills Hornsby comp, I still have the photo at mum n dads. I think I had a bob haircut! I'll let dad know of Bill's passing, he knew him from taking the other 4 brothers around the grounds. Sad sad news. Vale Bill.

Bill Carey was a GREAT man for Sydney footy, Balmain, Pennant Hills juniors and Pennant Hills seniors.

He wil be sorely missed and my thoughts are with Mick, Peter and the rest of the family.

Karl Merson is going to be a great pick up for us. Kid's huge and impressed last night at training. Few more Illawarra boys have come up but most are u19s I think, few guns there especially the ruckman.

Be interesting to see how Bruesty goes. Fit and solid as @@@@, still kicking like a rugby league halfback though.
