Out of interest, as I haven't watched as much ressies this year, how is Snell going? I know he had a rough patch mid season, but with McCartin likely out for a few weeks and the club having a good opinion of Snell going into the season, he's got to be a shot at a debut. Think the three talls down back helps release the Lizard.

was thinking the same thing this wknd re Snell and playing the FB role

      Datolli
      Snell
      Riak
      Bowman
      Hanily
      Green
      Cleary

All our emerging players starting to get back into game time and some out of long term injury recovery phase

Will be interesting to get to the next Sydney game to watch the Ressies

I think he played his best game of the season yesterday, albeit it was his intercepting, rather than one-on-one defending that caught my eye. In very challenging conditions (very strong breeze favouring one end), his disposal was also reasonably good.

For the brave or masochistic ones among us, this is the team for Saturday's match against North: which takes place at 12.05pm at Tramway.

          B: B. Paton (25), R. Andrew (20), C. Mitchell (35)
          HB: B. Leidler (32), P. Snell (41), A. Francis (10)

          HF: J. Dattoli (18), M. King (67), T. Hanily (40)
          F: N. Bowman (23), R. Fox (42), K. McNamara (59)
          R: W. Green (45), C. Cleary (33), C. Warner (37)
          INT: T. Forrest (58), M. Lloyd (51), N. Shipley (52), O. Davis (63), J. Kluske (47)
          23rd Player: M. King (67)
          EMG: A. Hanrahan (53), T. Ryan (66), P. Roseby (54)

          IN: T. Forrest, R. Fox, A. Francis, M. King, K. McNamara
OUT: P. Ladhams (AFL), M. Geddes (shoulder), A. Hanrahan, T. Ryan, W. Smit (omitted)
NEW: Tom Forrest, 19, 189cm, Corowa Rutherglen; Kaiden McNamara, 18, 186cm, Sydney Swans Academy/Terrigal Avoca

Nice to see McNamara from this year's academy cohort get a VFL debut, while King gets another go. Not sure who Forrest is, but I don't think he's been through the academy? Don't know who's going to ruck if Green needs a spell? Maybe Andrew?

With Xerri out suspended, and both Coleman Jones and Teakle playing AFL, maybe the Norf VFL team doesn't have much in the way of rucks left for the VFL squad. So maybe the coaches will agree to have two midgets face each other as second ruck.
