Logan reading the game well, McLean will be nervous.
Green been good in the Ruck and Sheldrick tough around the ball but boy he couldn’t hit the side of a barn with a beach ball lol

Did well to halt a North comeback, to be ahead 33-19 at the break. Three goals to McDonald is encouraging, but I suspect that he's not entirely match fit. Although, he did mark the ball at pace for his final goal. Sheldrick, Shipley and Edwards have been busy in the middle.

Poor kicking cost us and surprisingly poor defence by the back 6 all beaten in one on ones. Wardlaw is very clean for Norths

Still quite an enjoyable game, with North edging in front 61-52. Perhaps the difference being, that some of our VFL listed players butchered the ball a bit more than theirs?

Some amazing kicks from Francis. Don't remember him being that skilful of a kick at the AFL level

Still vaguely in the game, thanks to a flukey Paton goal, but not generating much coherent ball movement. Francis probably our best so far.

They were shocking after half time. 14 points in front at the 20 minute mark in the second quarter then one goal form the rest of the game. Nearly every time they went forward they would kick it to a North defender. Nobody could kick it that bad, not even your local park footballers. I thought Mcveigh would be the type of coach that could develop young footballers into AFL standard. I guess I made a bad call on that one.

Give McVeigh a chance! Game no 2 in the hot seat, and a team under pressure in terms of depth due to the impacts of seniors injuries. They were awful after half time sure, but not sure its time to completely write off McVeigh as a coach.

The last quarter was particularly hard to watch, given our injuries i don’t think you can blame the coaching.

I think Ladhams will be the most nervous.

Welcome Cubby! No, I think Logan needs another run in the two’s and Ladhams has been ok helping out in the ruck.

I really hope we keep Ladhams in , give Grundy a bigger break during games and switching up the ruck rotations as been a big plus,

Without doubt. Grundy is much more effective when given breaks and we need McLean up front or to help out down back if necessary.

The team for the match against Werribee at noon today. Which is taking place at Blacktown for some strange reason. A couple of interesting Swans VFL debuts. Firstly, Blake Leidler comes into the side, after spending the first bit of the season in the "does he actually exist" role, where he wasn't playing and wasn't on the injury list. While the Lachie Hunter that's named, does appear to be the former Bulldogs premiership player. Perhaps playing in our VFL side, is some form of atonement for his role in the 2016 GF?
