About time the SCG started to have a revamp, however, it should be the first step of many. It is starting to fall behind the other grounds in Australia in terms of facilities and modern features.

It fell behind LONG ago, about the time the MCG built the Great Southern Stand could be the starting point.
      Once was, now elsewhere

I agree that's a big problem. It needs more and larger exits. Its a disaster waiting to happen.

I said my bit about this on Big Footy.

Let's hope the AFL (and the Swans) can wield a bit of influence and get the ground lengthened. Just five metres at each end would make a significant difference. They'll NEVER have a better opportunity.

Finally sanity has prevailed. Finally Sydney will have a facility that will hopefully be worthy of the people who attend it every year.

Better late than never, but why the hell wasn't this done years & years ago?

If only there was a large, open grassed area built into the design.

You obviously have not been stuck in the O'Reilly tunnel after a game trying to exit I take it?
