If we deem Nick to be in our best 22, he'll play Saturday night, and that's based on all the criteria that the players and the coaching staff agree upon, and that will be based on, first and foremost, form and fitness.
Please don't treat us like idiots. That is the biggest crock of @@@@ I've read this year and I'm fully up-to-date on Spain giving apes the vote.

Williams. Fit and in-form before retirement?
Crouch. Fit and in-form before rested?
Mathews. Fit and in-form before rested?
    Kirk. In form?

      Not to mention...
"If we don't think he's in our best 22, he won't get a game. He wasn't in our best 22 last Saturday night and that's why he didn't play. He wasn't in our best 22 the week before and that's why he didn't play."
Sure... Davis is not as good as Phillips, Dempster, Bevan, Mathews, Fosdike, McVeigh, Richards, Ablett, Schneider, Vogels...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Add to that the ressies have a bye this week from memory - that's an awesome way to get fitness and form happening - don't play at all...

          Not to mention:

We haven't banned him from speaking to the media

Roos is all over the shop.

The form and fitness argument is the biggest load of bull*&it since Crouch's request for patient doctor privilage.

Last week Roos was saying Davo was 1 of 48 not willing to try and win games and lambasting him for speaking to the media, now its merely due to form and fitness. Yet Mathews isn't fit or in form and would be rushed back into the side if given half teh chance.

          Save Nick Davis!

Do we have any photos of the females in the Save Nick Davis t-shirts, over which the tiger fans were most complimentary?

I am sick of being treated like an idiot by the club. Do they think we aren't going to notice that they change their story every three days? Also, do they think that it is that hard to get "insider" knowledge in a city like Sydney, where half of us probably know more than what is in the media?

Maybe the circumstances shouldn't be published all over the media. Maybe theres a lot of things that go on at the Swans which shouldn't be published all over the media. But they shouldn't hide behind "form and fitness", and think that we will swallow it without question.

Get out of there Nick, go join a club that wants you for your talents and is not so hung up on creating a boys club.

And Paul Roos you can pack your bags and head to the real club you so want to coach and that is the lions. Isnt it your desire to be coaching the lions in a year or two? Where don't let the door hit you on the way out!

And while you are at it Roos why don't you get some technitians to digitally alter the last 15 mins of last years final againts the cats and replace Nick with Brett kirk. We all know thats what you want!@

The only people who read what Roos says are swans supporters and the next oppositions coaches.

So why lie to 100,000 odd, in the hope that you might fool 5.

Port will have plans for Davis and no Davis. This whole monkeying around with team announcements is way overvalued.

Okay, I want to see Nick playing as soon as possible but a few of you need to take a deep breath.
Firstly, Nick was dropped because of fitness/form. Roos, reason, not ours obviously.
Secondly, the blow up came about because of Nick's "scapegoat" comments. So, in addition to having poor form and being unfit, he wasn't following the team code. Again Roos' reasoning.
He hasn't said anything yet about his form /fitness improving. Sure Nick has now patched up his problems with his team mates (using that term loosely!) but in Roos' eyes his form and fitness haven't been addressed.
Therefore I think he can still use that argument however weak we think it is.

So how does he justify playing Williams when he was injured all year? What about some of the others?

How does he justify Kirks bad form atm?

One rule for Nick, one rule for the others.
