I go to the game in full Swans kit, right down to the red Puma Kings. Don't talk footwear to me.

I think that the Syyyyddddnnnneeeeyyyy chant would sounf super if it got started just before the end of the the final break, especially if things were close. Just for a minute or three. It is a great time to do it because most people should be back in their seats and the football is not moving around, causing a distraction. I also think that a huge crowd in that statdium would sound fantastic a send a chill down many a spine.

From what I understand most of RWO is attending, and attending groups large enough to get chants going. If everyone started in their small groups around the place at about the same time it should spread through the crowd pretty quickly and I think would be a tops way to start the final qtr.

        Whadayouse think?
If someone can organise the words to this chant to be put up on the scoreboard heaps of people will join in.

We get megaphones into Sydney FC everywhere. With 10 million siongs and chants being started at once, we definitely need them.

I can't see why they would bar one at the footy.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a pair of the "first 18" South Melbourne boots, so now I'm kitted out right down to the shoes. Pity I can't afford to get to the PF to break them in before (hopefully) the GF.

Some people do seem to have trouble with the long syyyddnneeeyy chant and only seem to be able to cope with the "sydney clap clap clap" palaver.

I like the long sydney chant but I have an annoying friend who just says "sydney" whilst the rest of us are still on the ssssssyyyyyyyddd
I have to put my hand over her mouth to shut her up.

You've had 25 years (a quarter of a century!) to get over it. Dont you think that its now time, given the success that the club is now having. Where do you think SMFC would be now if it hadnt relocated? Cmon Swantastic, join me and some 80,000 other Sydney based supporters and sing that Sydney chant loud and proud next Friday night.

Yes it is - perhaps a lot of people in the crowd speak Latin and think the chant is "Cygni" - which is, of course, Latin for "Swans".

This is a handy loophole for the old SMFC people like Swantastic who can't bear to say "Sydney" in the slow chant - say "Cygni" instead! It sounds much the same and in a crowd nobody will notice the difference.
