I know which seats I'd prefer (and it's NOT the expensive ones)
as long as you are in the bottom half, Level 6 is a brilliant place to watch from. As someone who used to always sit at ground level, it's a nice experiance being able to see the whole field.

Apparently now theres 17,500 tickets left.

Looks like the sales dried up once people knew Fremantle were playing.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

With reasonable sales from now on in and walk-ups, reckon we will get just on 70,000 which is a great effort against Freo.

Depends when each article was written.

If it is 15,000 left then we are on the way for over 70,000 when you take into account walk-ups and sales in the next couple of days.

The Age may presume the capacity is 83,500, the telly may work off the capacity being 81,500.....

                  Who knows.

The one that predicts the biggest crowd is the most reliable source
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Channel 10's Neil Cordy just reported 'just over 10,000 tickets left' so hopefully that means we will still get around the same crowd at least as 2003. Anything over 70,000 would be spectacular.

I always thought the capacity of the ground in AFL mode was only 75000 odd. Now people are saying we will get as many as the NRL GF would.

                          What's the go there capacity-wise?

                            From TS Site:
Telstra Stadium's seating capacity varies from 83,500 for Rugby Union, Rugby League and Soccer to 81,500 for Cricket & Australian Football.

10,000 is nothing...I wouldn't discount a walk up sell out on Friday Night...

Whatever the game will push very close to capacity

You know what the spin doctors are like JF. I will guarantee that even if the crowd was more then the NRL Gf that it wouldn't be reported as such. Or is it I am just cynical about PR spin doctors?
