Personally I don't think Sydney will be allowed to create as many stoppages as we like to next year. West Coast showed the way to beat the Swans in the 1st half of the grand final. The poorer teams will struggle to implement that game plan consistently but the better teams - who we ultimately need to beat - now have a blueprint for how to beat us.

Here's hoping Roosey has something up his sleeve ready for it.

Because they've said that they're not trading a player for him.

West Coast were lucky to beat us, so i wouldn't be changing the game plan too much, if at all.

Stop stuffing around. Tell the truth you damn negotiators instead of playing stupid games and just give us a damn good deal.

I don't know what else they could possibly use in a trade deal with Acker.

Satchmo ... this is worse than those two weeks before the QF.

I am fairly sure all trades must involves a pick or a player. In this case it could be a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

WBs said that no other player was involved, and they told the AFL at 10.14am yesterday (official trading started at 10.30), so I'm assuming that must be ok with the AFL.
Who bloody knows???? They may be giving up a draft pick for him ... it'd be a middle of the road pick, at best. I'm not sure what their trading "numbers" are. How did they finish on the ladder?

And you would be correct. Tho I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1st round pick involved.

But could they lodge the paperwork to dispatch aka, and then say:

we'll come back to you with our offer?

Maybe they have an undertaking to get another pick from another club?

Either way, it seems like a funny deal.
