I don't believe this. You're condoning his behaviour? You're actually sticking up for what he did?
The fact is, he did something wrong, not once but twice. He got caught, not once but twice. You think he would have learnt his lesson by now...

To know what i'm talking about? What exactly have i said that i 'haven't known what i'm talking about'? I made one comment saying "It'll be interesting to see what the club does about it".

Also, i'm 17. I know exactly what i'm talking about.

They did say last time that he "might" be on his last warning. Will probably get a one or two match ban.

I don't get the big deal. Based on that article he went and got drunk. So what? Thousands of people do that every week. Yes, he was arrested, which is not typical, but it's just for being drunk in a public place. Didn't say anything else. Still not a big deal.

"A man was picked up by police in the Southbank precinct about 4.30am today and taken to the Melbourne Custody Centre," a police spokeswoman said.

"He would have done four hours to sober up and then been released."

The spokeswoman said he had been charged with being intoxicated in a public place and was expected to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court at a later date.

Warne and BBB are tools and not great personal role models but they are great at there job.Sure we all go out and have a drink but we all dont run from booze buses and then cause a ruckus at southbank. The thing is people like him are under more scrunity then us humble human beings,so there for he has to watch is back even more. You know that the media is like a pack of sharks waiting to pounce on every little thing they do.So they have to have more common sense.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

I love the "being drunk in a public place". As you said thousands do this every week. They would need an awfully big lock up if they arrested every drunk soul out there.

Very rarely will the cops pick you up for JUST being drunk - there's ususally something more to it to catch their attention in the first place.

And while we might argue the "role model" line for all eternity, the simple fact is that he KNOWS he is a public figure, he KNOWS he now has a reputation for alcohol-related incidents, so why was he willing to put himself in a position where he could land himself in trouble AGAIN? He might be just an ordinary bloke who happens to play footy well, but he seems to be an ordinary bloke with a lack of common sense at the very least...

Sometimes the cops just grab people in certain areas at very late times.

I'm not saying he's not a fool for behaving that way, I just think it's not such a big deal.

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Obviously you have never had too many beers/wines and made a fool of yourself.

Sadly, i have many many times.

Guess i will just have to hope nobodys kid puts Layby on their footy shirt.
