Goodes is still sitting nicely for four final big scores to snatch the win.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Goodesy will have a great last few games and poll well, no doubt. However, Kirk didn't do so badly either, and given that theirs 9 points difference, it may not be enough.

Malceski will finish 3rd, possibly fourth as his season tapers off.

One Mr Craig Bolton didn't go too badly for the remaining H & A games - pity about that final........ I reckon Goodsy has it, got to have been BOG in at least four of the final five games.

              Ssshhhhhh. Stop jinxing Goodsey.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

                  Rnd 19 v St Kilda

Every game is now a desparate fight, to stay in touch with the 8. A loss for either team would spell an early end to the season. The saints are on top early. A good start is essential. A goal in the first 30 secs is an ominous sign. To St Kilda, not us. McVeigh kicked the only 2 goals to keep the swans in touch. a tightish, 2nd qtr saw the scores level at half time. C Bolton was having a clearly better game than Gehrig, getting possessions at will. The 3rd was much the same, C Bolton playing loose in defence was outstanding, and the swans went into the last qtr with a 4 point lead. It was now that the game changed. The swans controlled the game effectively, while not scoring easily, but enough. 17 point win kept the finals hopes alive.

                  Rnd 20 v Brisbane

Again another must win game. Brisbane are a different team from the one we played earlier in the year, and Jonathon Brown has been outstanding in the past month. Can C Bolton keep him in check? Well to a point yes. Only 3 goals for the entire game, plus 1. In a game of where the swans only dominated for one qtr, keeping Brisbane goalless in the third, but too many behinds made their job of keeping the Lions at bay that much harder. But the swans hold a 6 point lead, with seconds to spare after the lions had come storming home. All they had to to was shut the game down, flood back in defence, smother the ball in the centre square, anything to stop the lions going forward. Jonathon Brown, is an enormous presence on the ground, and he stepped up at the right time. Marking directly in front of goals, but more than 50m out. A tough pressure kick. Is he good enough? Yes. And that was the first draw for the swans for a number of seasons. A dissapointing result, but still 2 points.

                            Rnd 21 v Collingwood

The Pies have been in terrific form and have been one of the teams we have struggled to beat in recent years. A huge crowd is expected at the MCG for this clash. The Pies dominated from the opening bounce, they were fast, more physical, and more skilled. But somehowm the swans managed to hit the lead late in the first term, before the Pies levelled the scores. The swans then got out to a 10 point lead, before the pies rounded up, and surpassed that deficit. The rest of the game the swans were never really in the hunt. Rocca, Cloke and Rusling, were just too good and the delivery to them was a defenders nightmare. The pies ran out the game as the swans struggled. The amount of tackling by the pies and the HTB decisions was incredible. The swans had no room to move. A 25 point loss, again, made them look better than they were.

A final 8 position is guaranteed, this game will determine whether we finish 7th or 8th. Someone must have changed their Gatorade, as it was a different team which came out to play today. No Hall, and the swans looked for other forward targets. Actually they looked for many other targets as the forwards shared the goals around. Goodes was outstanding again. Buddy franklin had a shocker. The swans had kicked over 100 points to half time, something they struggled to do in an entire game. It was an outstanding display against a team that was fighting for a top 4 finish.
