Have to trade him now, while he's still worth something. He's a player on the decline.
Ch 7 just said Roos had refused a straight swap for Johnstone. Ch 7 aren't exactly a reliable source though!
I wouldn't swap Jude to Melbourne even if they offered them both. Miller is unproven and Johnstone has been in wilderness for the last 5 years. I would be swapping Jude for someone like Justin Sherman of Brisbane. He is a kid that puts his heart on line.
I think Jude is the one that puts his heart on the line, unfortunately it hasn't helped much this year. Sherman reeks of arrogance. Not saying it's a bad move, he might add some flair to the list!

hi guys. i believe jude bolton is a fair player and is overated by melbournians. i hope we can somehow get a trade involving bolton/buchannon for green throwing in a possible 3rd round draft pick to smooth the deal. what do you guys think?
What about pick #4 and TJ, for pick #11 and J Bolton.
I think that would be an excellent trade for us.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
im not sure about travis johnstone he seems to be always injurded, and only plays well against the poor teams (carlton 41 possies) stands out in my mind
not count it out mate.. listening on melbournes SEN the CEO of Melbourne wouldnt rule out a trade for green providing extremly good compensation. I would think 2 premiership players in buchannon and j bolton would be enough to get green who had a pretty disappointing season by my view.

So the formula here is 2 hard players = 1 soft player.
