He added that Bolton had been mentioned for only "about five minutes" in dealings with other clubs - although that was largely because they were not willing to meet the Swans' asking price.
So he was never really on the table. Didn't I hear that somewhere before?

It was just a slap on the wrist for Trinny and Susannah to keep them in line. Meanwhile Bolton continues to play well and be underrated on RWO.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

$300,000 - will someone call an ambulance.

Assuming he plays 22 games (he never gets dropped) and he continues his decline, he should average about 15 possessions (this includes dives on the ball that produces nothing, but boy is he gutsy) which equates to $909 per possession, yes per possession.

If he plays all 22 games and plays say about 100 minutes per game, that is $136.36 per minute.

Has anyone else got any jokes?

Can he now officially (RWO law) be known as B2. CB deserves to be moved to the B1 position.

While we all thought that Jude Bolton has had better years, he finished top 10 in the B&F and deserved a new contract that atleast kept pace with inflation and the significant increase in the overall salary cap next year.

So it was not un expected that the new contract was on better terms, albeit very modest better terms.

He's worth a lot to the Melbourne media and the umpires rate him highly as well.

I sincerely hope we get to see a bit of B1 next year play like he used to.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
