    Jude Bolton

Adam White was on SEN before reporting the Mattner trade - he also said that 'even' Jude Bolton's name has been thrown up.

    There's a perception down here that he's a gun.

Just on Ch 10 news in Melbourne.

Roos said "He has finished in the top 10 in the B&F 3 times, in some pretty successful sides, so we'd want something good for him."

This story seems to be growing legs.

And on Ch 10 news in Sydney, just mentioned a possible trade of a Sydney Swans Premiership player

I watched the last Q of the 2005 GF on Sunday night and have got to say Jude's quarter was pretty good. He hasn't had a sniff since though. If a club in Melbourne still rates him then let them have him I say. Who's going to do the player interviews for the club mag is the big question.

I would be disappointed to see Jude Bolton go from our club as he still has a lot to offer and he still goes in hard for the ball and is one of our most consistent players

He did not have a great year this year but so did a lot of the 2005 premiership side

I think he needs another year at the Swans next year and see how he goes and if he has another bad year then let him go but not next year

                            Consistently ordinary!

                            Would be great trade bait!

If we leave it to next year we wont get anything for him if he has another bad year, thats why roos would be talking him up, they see it as trade him this year and get something for him or leave it and you'll get nothing for him later on with maybe a possible delisting and placing in a PSD. A player has only a limited time as decent trade bait and thats how clubs look at it, this year reminds me so much of 98, trade for higher picks in a weaker draft in the hope we pick well and get some good ones, cant really argue with that it worked for us before, we got 2 future premiership players(bolton, fosdike) and a player that could have been very good if not for injurys.
