It is not Barry Hall's fault that he was born a moron.

The blame for his ongoing poor behaviour on the field and cost to our club lies with one man...

      Paul Roos.

Roos' ongoing pandering to, and defence of, the moron, has given it the justification to continue it's dummy spitting and terrible abuse of umpires, which puts it (very) off side with them.

It will mean the 50/50s always go against him and the team, and I cannot blame any umpire that gives Hall (and our team) the rough end of the pineapple.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

He gets shafted week in and week out. I have sympathy for Hall on this one (I didn't when he decked Staker). Even when he was big good Barry Hall they gave him @@@@ week after week. He's probably not the sharpest tool in the shed but he's not the biggest tool in the AFL either. He does not get fairly treated.

Even when he was big and "good" he abused umpires ferociously and deserved what he got.

Name a bigger tool. Maybe one. Fev?

At least Hall stays out of trouble off the field i suppose.

That isn't the issue here. The bottom line of this discussion is that throwing a tantrum doesn't change the umpires decision, therefore you shouldn't throw tantrums.

Of course we did not hear what he said, but it really did not look like a tantrum to me.

You are obviously not aware of the "abuse of umpires" rule. There does not need to be a swear word.

A dvd was sent to all clubs about this and Hall knows about it.
                No excuse for it.

Why not just stand there and say nothing? Why risk giving away penalties at vital times by running your mouth?

Today's paper reported that Hall is negotiating a new contract. Possibly for 12 months.

I don't think AnnieH has seen that video. Maybe she should.

It obviously wasn;t much, because the first 50 was given pretty quickly.

Not so much a 'tantrum' but whinging and complaining at every contest that doesn't go his way does not endear him to anyone.

When has his carrying on actually changed a decision on even a successive one? It is probably too late for him to change now, but hopefully he sees out the season with no more dramas.

And what did he think whacking Mitchell in the chin would prove?
