Agree, Davis for Hall, different type of player, but as the Cats know..he can be damaging.

The 5th Quarter just said it will be 4 weeks unless the Match review committee refer it to the tribunal as a king hit/unexpected hit.

It was definitely an unexpected king hit.

Exactly...i almost fell off my chair. He said by a long way our best LMAO

Yes, its 1 of the worse acts ive seen on a football field. Only thing worse in modern sports off the top of my mind is Melo's gutless act in New York (NBA fans would know only:P)

Absolutely no need for it barry.

Like someone said it was an immaculate punch. The look on staker's face less than a second after impact was sickening.

OK, Baz shouldn't have whacked him. But every week he is held, scragged, pulled etc. etc. There probably was a free for him if he did nothing. The Channel 10 crew had him hanged, drawn and quartered when we have seen worse incidents get less - e.g. Mal Michael and Scott on Riewoldt a couple of seasons back - and they got nothing. And then after all the carry-on they run the betting odds on the penalty!! Unbelievable hypocrisy. And it's commendable for Waters (?) to whack Baz at 1/4 time! Four weeks, perhaps three with an early plea - and his wrist will take longer.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Will channel 10 put at least half a commentator who may be swans friendly? They are already advertising bets as to how many weeks Barrry will be off...

Bazza's hit was unfortunate, in that that guys' head happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time...

Tim Lane and Robert Wlalls have a strong, almost pathological dislike for us.

This is one thing that really annoys me and the commentators never seem to notice when Hall should get a free kick. If the umpire did his job correctly, Hall would have been lining up for goal instead of decking Staker. It's not an excuse but fair dinkum that was a free every day of the week!

From memory, if a player is injured don't they have to fix up the injury THEN serve the suspension? Roosey shouldn't have admitted he was under the impression it was a fracture - we could have hidden it then lol!

CH 10 commentators seem very respectful towards swans...never forget to mention our style and how effective it is and they dispute all the negative talk of our style and say things like 'u have to respect the way they just...'

and as for the betting, thats sportsbets fault, ch 10 just mentioned it. On the topic they showed over 4.5 weeks for $1.90....what a steal. Bazza's gotta get 6 minimum. Checked a min ago and it was $1.75 for over 5.5 weeks.

You have to love how Ch10 avoided showing the actual incident after halftime, like they were protecting the kiddies or something. Then they have the odds up on the screen an hour later.

CH 10 commentators (or to be ... cheeky, melb commentators) always get really excited when Sydney opponents score goals, or get a great mark etc.. etc. They are very quick to point to a ref's mistake if it goes swan's way, but hardly mention a ref's mistake against us. They are one sided.. always been, always will be
