Correct. Another myth shot down in flames.

And gave our little champ one of the worst sprays from a coach to a departing player when he left:

Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse's words were frank. "We are disappointed that Nick Davis is gone," he said. "But as we have said before, we only want good people at this football club."

He was playing well for us early on, too. He's happier in Sydney so imagine how he'd play if he wasn't?

Davis has played plenty of good footy for us - as recently as last year too, so I don't know about the 'early on' part.

How do you know he's happier? How do you know anything about what he's thinking or feeling?

And just quoting that by itself takes the whole situation out of context, which you're apt to do.

id still like to see proof of his so called form slump. He was in the best 22 round one this year according to the match committee and i still dont see what he did to get dropped and end up in his current situation.

As for collingwood, they were angry to lose him hence their comments, they just felt betrayed.

He's played at and failed at two clubs with strong team ethos and team traditions. But hey its Roos and Malthouse fault. Pathetic

I don't know for sure NMW, but considering he wanted to come to Sydney, you'd imagine he'd be happier if he's where he wants to be.

I'm aware of this. I'm just saying he played well for us early on, after his move from Collingwood.
