Bevan played fine, I really don't understand the crap he's copping. Sure, he was used as a stepladder by Thomas, but that could have been any of them. Bevan wasn't the problem.

Imagine if these Fevola rumours came true? Fevola gets the @@@@s with crap delivery from Judd, Stevens and Murphy. Imagine what he'd be like with delivery from the Swans midfield? He'd have been halfway to Kings Cross at 3 quarter time.

Pal ... firstly, you've got to take off your Bevo tinted glasses. He played @@@@ last night. Just like the rest of them.

The only people (IMHO) who can hold their heads up are Kirky and Mattner, and maybe Richards. The rest of them played like crap ... Bevo included.

As for you guys who want to cancel your trips to Melbourne next week ... bah!! Big deal if we lose another game (I'm going to Melbourne to shop - the footy is just convenient!!) - play like they played last night and it's a given.
I was replying to the suggestion he should be dropped for the next game. Certainly wasn't his best game but it didn't warrant a trip to the two's.

Now how does that merit dropping a young defender when we were largely smashed in the midfield.?

Bevan is a hack! And deserves to be dropped, get your rose-coloured glasses off for bloody once.
I'd prefer Ben Mathews in the side ahead of Paul Bevan any day of the week.

Take your rose-coloured glasses off, I'm sick of that hack, turning the ball over, time and time again.

BRING IN PATRICK VESZPREMI ahead of PAUL BEVAN NOW ROOSEY!!!

I have had it with Bevan in the side!

Luckiest premiership player in the history of the AFL!

              Give it a rest, Reaper.

Bevan was one of our better players. Your opinions won't be met with any respect if you excrete rubbish posts like that, based purely on emotion and bias. If we're going to hand out Red Cards, let's take a look at Playfair, Hall, Buchanan, Ablett. Bevan looked slick on the rebound last night and made few errors compared to the rest of them.

Feel free to give your opinion, but you can't follow it up by sayings ours are wrong. I, personally, don't agree with your assessment of Bevan. I think he showed a bit last night. Other's played far worse. Let's focus our attention there.

There were only 4 - 5 that could be considered "better players" and Bevan was not one of them.

16 possessions, including 7 marks and three tackles. No frees against. Not great but OK.

It's alright, he's been banned, so it doesn't matter anymore.

Bevan: Not great, but okay. Sums it up. I wish I could say that about a few of our other players.

Bevan was pretty poor although not one of our worst, but certainly not one of our better players. Certainly doesn't deserve to be dropped though.

Geelong lost by how many to the Pies? Some posters have come out of the wood work after a silent 6 weeks or so.

We should still beat the hawks next week. As a side note, Baz is clear evidence there is no "no dickheads rule". We should have traded him last year when he had some currency.
I agree with all, as I said earlier in this thread. Except for the point on Hall - trading was never an option, but I still think that he will never go close to recapturing his best of 05-06.

Wow what a crap game. Whilst dissappointed with the 1st Q. I was quite calm, had to be. Struggled to keep emotions under check in the 2nd and 3rd. Was a disgrace. I had trouble not splitting my stitches in my guts. Umpiring was appalling at times, (both ways).

Why is it always the Rocky approach, in these games. We wait until they have us on the ropes, the KO punch is about to come, and then the players pull themselves of the canvas and come out swinging, only we tend to run out of time in a points decision.

Kirk, Jolly, and Kennelly were the only ones who could hold their heads high last night, the rest were crapolla.

We had all the talk in the paper, but still nothing much changed, in the approach to the pies, who pants us in the same manner last year.

That was one of the most frustrating games I've ever been to.

                              Frustrating because we lost.

Frustrating because we got shafted by the umpires(AGAIN)

Frustrating because the MAgpies played crap and still beat us.

But, most of all, frustrating because I and every other Swans fan know that they can all play 110% better than they showed tonight.
                              Red & White forever.
