ROK - Re signs with swans for 4 years. (Confirmed)

Anyone doing what ROK is doing would have probably been shown the door by their employer by now.

He verbally accepted the Swans' offer last week and, without informing the club or coach, is now via his manager publicly canvassing Melbourne clubs through the media.

ROK is a leader at the club and has been mentioned as a future captain. If he wants to leave then fine, but if he's only doing it to boost his salary as appears the case, then it's disgraceful conduct.

The football is business analogy stops when you cross the white line. Whatever his intention, ROK's actions this week have demonstrated to his teammates that he is not 100% committed to playing alongside them and doubts their chances of winning another flag. That lost of trust will be hard to rebuild.

Port are a finals chance next year they have good depth, O Keefe would bring more forward options as they already have a good midfield.

gee Id more then take pick 4 for him. Id hope that we would use it not to trade for a player but to pick up a draftee though. Unless we are after Kerr then this should be our plan. But O keefe i doubt would want to go to Port either.

Williams has stated in the media that, unlike other clubs, they would give up pick 4 if the right deal came along in trade week.

I highly doubt a 28yo O'Keeffe would be the right deal though.
