The answer is, and always has been, at section 125 of the Constitution

    CHAPTER VII - MISCELLANEOUS.

    Seat of Government.

    125. The seat of Government of the Commonwealth shall be determined by the Parliament, and shall be within territory which shall have been granted to or acquired by the Commonwealth, and shall be vested in and belong to the Commonwealth, and shall be in the State of New South Wales, and be distant not less than one hundred miles from Sydney.

Such territory shall contain an area of not less than one hundred square miles, and such portion thereof as shall consist of Crown lands shall be granted to the Commonwealth without any payment therefor.

The Parliament shall sit at Melbourne until it meet at the seat of Government.

Hmmm... Just how long have you been storing that one up, waiting for just the right moment?

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

You say that as if they aren't going to.

It might just be the deal clincher.

Unless they also print out my letter telling them that they need to keep Davis - at any cost - including ROK.

No, I just thought of it - ROK to Lions somehow spawned it.

I'm hearing we are offering hall to western bulldogs for peter street and a second round pick.

i can only assume that if this is true the second round would be passed on for something else because that would be the greatest win for the bulldogs ever - a ruckman who is pathetic around the ground for our best forward.

Based on your previous comments, O'Keefe is in breach of his contract and should be shown the door.
O'Keefe waited until the end of the season. The greatest forward since John Coleman hawked himself around during the run up to the finals. Don King, Kid Terrific's agent deliberately destablised the club in the process. Apparently both parties, O'Keefe and Sydney have entered an agreed negotiating period. O'Keefe is not in breach of his contract. And Davis has been shown the door.

Roos said he could not explain why the out-of-contract O'Keefe was in dispute, or why he was yesterday being shopped around Melbourne clubs by his management.

Sounds like the coaches and staff have got together and formed an agreement to try and prevent players and their management from playing the games.

The "until he leaves the Swans, we don't consider it all to be serious" lines seem to be prevalent.

Yes but they wouldn't be acting without instructions from their client. O'Keefe is treating the club quite shabbily in all this. I would have thought a phone call at least to the coach was warranted to let him know what's going on.

Don't bet on it. It's all smoke and mirrors this time of year, and the media will be the last to know what is ACTUALLY going on, then we'll be next.

"If O'Keefe's serious, we'll have a closer look at it, but we don't think he is serious, he might be chasing a bit more money from the Swans."

Roos said he could not explain why the out-of-contract O'Keefe was in dispute, or why he was yesterday being shopped around Melbourne clubs by his management.

"We just don't know, I'm certainly none the wiser," Roos said. "Last Monday week he came back to us with his revised request and we accepted it. I don't know what's changed."
