Haha, me too! I mean, I'm glad he's staying (if it is indeed true), but I'd grown used to the idea of another first round pick. It'll just take some readjusting.

Just a point, has ANY of the speculation about ROK's future been fuelled directly by ROK himself? I don't remember seeing a single quote from O'Keefe that gave any weight to trade rumours. I'm not saying it was bull@@@@ or anything, but the whole thing stinks to me of somebody getting into ROK's ear at the Brownlow (or at another time while he was in Melbourne), him deciding that things might get a bit complicated and so appointing Tom Petroro as manager, who then asks if he would give him permission to see what's on offer at other clubs. O'Keefe, who was clearly having second thoughts about the Sydney deal (and you would want to consider something your last big contract carefully), said yes, thinking it would all be kept pretty low key. Petroro misunderstood, and was far more blunt in his approach. That's how it seems to me. I would have thought, if O'Keefe wanted his position widely known, that he would have made some definite statements at some time or other.

Aparently as he walked in to the Champions Night Dinner he said to the media that he;d be 'making a decision on the weekend', as in, this one.

Otherwise, he hasn't said a word.

For some reason, I believe the Swans will get a raw deal by trading ROK. I hope I'm wrong.

sounds like he's trying to have his cake and eat it too. See whether he can drive a trade to one of his favoured clubs else re-sign.

If he's going to have a half-arsed "I'll stay if nothing better comes up" attitude then the least he could do is help us get pick 6 before he pisses off.

I'm with you on this one DA. If he only stays because of no better offers, then it is going to end in tears...probably for us, the fans.

You can bet your backside he's going, he would of committed to the team by now, the B&F the other night would of been the perfect time to do it. Just let him go and hopefully we can get a good trade
