How exhausting, and all we got out of it was Shaw.

I'm glad we kept our first two picks, though.

Geez get over it kids - its 2008. ROK is still with us, and I hope we keep him. But if he goes, good luck to him. This is a business and he's one of the best at it. Most of us would happily leave our current employer to chase bigger $$$'s.

Demons said that Sydney offered a high draft pick - presumably our first rounder - for Green. Wonder if that was on the assumption we could get pick 16 from hawthorn.

              I'm with you.
Devastated that he wanted to go, hopeful that now he'll change his mind.

              And we can say:

FINALLY, THE ROK HAS COME BACK .......................... TO SYDNEY

I'm sorry, but I do believe the poos and wees were offering him less money!!!

So picks 12, 30, 61 and 62 in the draft. I'm assuming we'll use the last 2 (61 & 62) otherwise it would be pretty pointless asking Collingwood for it in the Shaw trade.

Evidently Green didn't want to relocate to sin city...so hes re-signed for 3 more years at the bottom of the ladder

The smart money would be on O'Keefe to Carlton in the pre season draft.

He'll be back. His alternatives are:
                            a) Melbourne, who will certainly offer him less money than Sydney (and are hardly an appetisting on-field prospect)
                            b) Perth or Adelaide, both of which he's said he doesn't want to go to.

He wouldn't get to pick 5 in the PSD in a million years.

Welcome back, ROK. I'd say 'all is forgiven', but really, is there anything to forgive? Contract negotiations... what contract negotiations?

Ummm, if we only use two picks (12 & 30) it would mean we got Shaw for nothing.
