        Agreed.

But on the plus side at least we have another tagger who can't kick!

Hopefully those people who think it's not okay to bag players, but hypocritically get stuck into Davis (particularly the personal stuff), will STFU now.

But at least the end is in sight!!!

Mixed feelings...sad to see one of the few Tasmanian links with the club go, but it looked as though it was inevitable.

He may not have had the right attitude,Connelly, but he did give us one of the best quarters of football that I often watch when I am feeling down and need a pickmeup..."Unbelievable" Thank you Nick..that is better than any amount of Prozac.

Really disappointed - and what am i supposed to do with my number 2 guernsey now?!?

It has nothing to do with his ability or talent anymore .... it's was all political in the end.

            Very Sad

Any Swans Fan that Boos Davis while playing for another Club against Swannies, ought to be Shot!!!

I look back at the 05 Semi & think to myself,Without his Brilliance that night we all would still be Starving for that allusive Premiership Win.

              That's how i feel anyways.

Your right it had nothing to do with his talent (he had it in bucket loads), but stop smoking the grass it had nothing to with politics but Nick's reluctance to actually to do anything that looked like hard work.

But that is okay, the club gave him plenty of chances to get his attitude right, do the hard work and actually put in like the other 650 odd senior listed players in the AFL and he didn't or couldn't.

Sad to see him go, but has no one but himself to blame.

You won't have to worry about that, there is absolutely no way another club is going to pick up Davis in either the ND or PSD.

Big assumptions there. You're making a habit of this.

How very bizarre. I would have thought that the club would waited until they clarify the O'Keefe situation as Bas said.

Well, good luck to him. Almost certainly the most naturally talented footballer at the Swans, but you can't get by on just that.

If we lose ROK, there's a semi-chance we'll pick him up again!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

So tell me why he can play like he did in the finals series of 05, where he ran, competed hard and most of all wanted the ball.

To someone who clearly looked overweight at times and looked like they were going through the motions.

And this problem was not percuilar to us either, he had the exact same issues at Collingood.

Davis was given enough chances by us and Collingwood for the football world to realise that he was his own worst enemy.

Again assumptions and perceptions. You're certainly entitled to them, but you can't state them as if they are fact because you simply don't know.

I can only assume getting rid of davo now is because the club is confident or has word that ROK is staying, heres hoping anyway!
