A bit of perspective please.... How can some of you constantly criticise Paul Roos, the man whose blueprint actually put the Swans into contention for the 2005 Premiership and whose commitment to the Swans is beyond question, and yet laud Nick Davis, the man who has (allegedly) repeatedly broken team rules and openly shopped himself around to other clubs (a crime many seemed destined never to forgive ROK for) when things weren't going his way?
Like most of you, I am unhappy to see any Swans player who has had half the impact Davis had at the club move/d on. However the simple truth is that I don't think any of us really knows what has gone on inside the Swans and to roundly bag the coaching staff and the leadership group for this is rubbish.
I think the most telling quote from Davis in the wash up is the following:
"I totally understand the club's decision," Davis said yesterday. "I had a fair indication a fair way out that was what they were going to do, and it didn't come as any shock at all."

HE knows where he went wrong, why is it so hard for you all to accept it, especially when it comes from the horse's mouth?
Incidentally, 2005 semi-final aside, surely the greatest Davis moment was kicking the sealer in round 6 2003, the first time he'd come up against the Magpies following his trade. Classic "stick it up 'em" gesture to the booing fans at Telstra Dome after the goal.
