Yep, I heard it on SEN this morning too whilst shaving Emarald. It is dissapointing in a way, but I guess the only positive you can get out of it is it really isnt that different to losing him now or at the end of the year. He apparently feels his body isnt up to it to go around another year in the AFL.

If this is true, and it is only on SEN at this stage, then that is a piss weak effort by Tadhg. He would have known that at the end of last season.

I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision for Tadhg, I thank him for his immense contribution to the club and wish him all his best in his Gaelic football exploits.

His retirement does leave another big hole in the squad though, with Coney gone AWOL and Fosdike also retired.

I wouldnt put blame on tadgh. He has been an excellent clubman. Swans player management are the ones who need a kick up the bum for not taking extra rookies to cover all these losses.

Anyway, if this is true it will just give another young guy a chance like everyone seems to want.

He is a big hole to fill in your half back line, even as unfit/injured as he was in the last part of the season...... will be missed as he has given you so much drive from across the midfield.

No way, they got the info by some journo ive never heard of That said they put a few calls into sydney and couldnt get onto anyone cause they were in a board meeting and announced about 20mins ago that there will be noe comment from kennelly or roos till 3.30pm. Looks like he's outta here!
