I think thats called a verbal. He is one of our best defenders for the record. His ranking in last years best and fairest proves it. Or at least it proves that good judges can rate quality when they see it.

Many metres in front of a pack, wasn't exactly a Leo GF saving mark.

I said at the time, that just save the game.

Oh no, we've regressed to Bevo beating Johnson pointless (or maybe we're talking about last year's game against Brisbane?).

Correct, he did save the game and it was metres in front of a pack. Not all of us wear rose-coloured glasses when we watch the game.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

It was an excellent mark, but it was neither in front of a pack (it was one Eagles player) and it didn't necessarily save the game - the Eagles player still had to take the mark and kick the goal from a fair way out on an angle. If he spilled the mark there were three Swans players around to clear. What it did is made sure we didn't lose, which is a slightly different thing.

Well, he helped make sure we did not lose.

Remeber that Nick Davis played only a minor part in the 2005 semi final win too (most credit is to go to Ball and also to Kirk for shouting at him), so it's nothing for Bevo to be ashamed about to have merely contributed to a team performance. I read somewhere here that Buchanan was responsible for Jack's goal. I think LRT's contribution has to be noticed. If he wasn't off the field with an injury I don't think Bevo would have taken that mark.

That would have been the pressure he put on Mackenzie who gave up a desperate and shallow kick which was well visioned by Jack to set himself up for a wonderful goal.

Who was Bevan on all night?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I actually thought his best play of the night was when he tackled an Illegals player over the goal line to stop what looked like being a goal.

Mainly McKinley, but did a short stint on LeCras when matchups needed Bolton elsewhere.

Won't even bother reading all this crap.

Bevan was handy on Saturday. Did his job. Did a couple of good things, did a cple of bad things. B-

                              Enough said.

That's who I thought he was on, I thought he (McKinley) gave Bevo a little bit of a touch up (4 goals?) so I'm a little confused by the suggestions that Paul played particuarly well.

He did do some good stuff through the game, though.
