We are in the middle of HSC trials here, he should have had his books on the bench!!

Does a bit of study on the plane.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Only 8 possessions tonight but according to the stats 100% effiiciency.

God love the kid. And the best bit is He Is All Ours......and I think Roosy picked him from an underage competition.

I don't think it has occurred to him yet that he is a kid. A more composed young man I don't think I have seen. (Hugging myself with anticipation of the future).

Now go back to school young man, and concentrate. the end of this year is of lifelong importance to you. Footy can wait, for a few months anyway.

Is he eligible for the rising start next year? If he is, would get on board now.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Yep - less than 10 games this year so a special for next year

I think he's about due for a rest.

I'd give Vez or Laidlaw another go before the end of the year.

Very special, although his chasing and tackling could do with some work.

So excited about this kid. We really look like having a strong midfield in years to come with Hanners, Meredith, Vez, Bird, McVeigh, Jack etc.

He hasn't been bad in that area, but last night I thought he really could have gone harder chasing the ball. Maybe he's getting a bit puffed. He has tackled and chased hard before, so I don't think it's anything to worry about.

You obviously saw the same passage of play I saw. Maybe it is a fitness thing.
Barlow did the same thing last night.

Running away from camera to chase the ball on the wing, Geelong player (Logan maybe?) sped past and beat him to it, and Hanners just looked like he was struggling to chase him?

He did look a little slower last night but i don't think he was the only one ... barlow missed more tackles than i can count and Geelong ran away from a lot of Swans last night!!!

Very excited to see him more next year - Rising Star 2010!!!!
