Hah got it. Hawthorns Alan Martello. According to WIKI. The Ben Hart stat may be newer.

    Al Martello played his 50th @ 19y 228d (200 @ 25y 359d)

You mean Big Footy got it wrong. I'm shocked.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I just think some players relish the pressure, some don't.
It's not always the best kicks that kick the clutch goals.
Cressa is a classic example, I saw him miss many easy shots at goal in the middle of games.
I also saw him kick some absolute clutch goals when it mattered. ie SCG after the siren against North. Time on( or during extra time) 4th quarter against Bombers 96 prelim. etc
I reckon Hanners is that sought of player.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

Hanners is certainly a ballsy and confident young bloke and if he missed, it would be more thru lack of technique then a bad case of the jitters.

I still would look to a fair few others before throwing him the ball, but your point is well made.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

You're right - some players just will it through with confidence. Any slight hesitation or doubt and you're shot.

I've noticed with Buddy Franklin that he tends to miss the easier shots but when the time comes to slot one from outside 50 on the boundary he generally puts it right through the middle. His kicking efficiency is terrible but he loves to kick those important ones.

My bold prediction...Daniel will be getting a call from his Mum to tidy up his room. Excellently stitched up by the Grand Master Tang on home invasions. Check it out on Swans TV.

Shane Crawford would take Dan as pick #3 if the 2008 draft was re-held:

Yeah one or two bad kicks amongst a heap of possessions (and a magnificent kick to set up O'Keefe for a goal) ... he was definitely not the problem today

One of maybe three or four players who looked like they gave a stuff today. Definitely not the problem.

He tries his heart out and is normally a great little player. How can you shine with a non-team structure/effort like that?
